Our Yellow Pages Patient This is a brief story about Kristin and the procedures that were accomplished to create a beautiful smile for her wedding. Her treatment to close gaps and realign her teeth included all ceramic jacket crowns for her front teeth. Also, we suggested a simple two week at home tooth whitening regimen to be completed about three months prior to placement of these crowns for a brighter smile that would then be stable for shade matching at the time of tooth preparation. Impressions were made prior to preparing the teeth to evaluate the bite and relative sizes and overlap in the teeth. A special system of temporaries was fabricated using composite resin so that Kristin could feel confident at home and at work for the ten day interim before final placement of the jacket crowns using a fiber optic curing light and resin cement.
